After the ‘pink’ craze it set around the electronics market with the Pink PSP, and the J-Pop-ish Metallic Blue and Silver comes yet another color:

It’s officially named Champagne Gold, as announced last week. The front panel looks good in picture, I should say. But I’m quite doubtful about how it looks on the backside. As PSP owners — more so with those having light-colored units — can see, the front panel is as shiny as glass but the underside is of matte finish. This matte finish on the underside gets yellowish over time with the white units, and quite dirty with the silver one. I hope this one doesn’t go that way as well.
That’s all that’s significant for most geeks for the past week, I think. However something happened to me personally that I think deserves a separate post.

What was great about this yet-another-social-networking-site that had him discarding his other accounts and settling for this one? So I went out and created my own account.

Something to give to your wife/girlfriend/sister/niece:

Looks very cute. I’m not sure though if these would fit on the earphones my wife uses with her Samsung D600.
The shop is located here.

I found out after a few weeks of use that the sound coming from the standard earbuds that come with my PSP were not really impressive. Of course the PSP itself cannot compete with other popular MP3 players, but I doubt that it produces sounds that are comparable to listening to an AM radio. I’m sure Sony would never release a product that would sound that inferior. So I tried looking around for better-sounding earphones.
