A new year, a new desktop. Just a while ago I installed Beryl to my existing Ubuntu Edgy Eft system.
It’s not the first time that I installed an application that enhances the user experience, but this one is more pleasant. A few months earlier I’ve tried Compiz, but that proved to be unstable when the succeeding weeks came that I had to remove it from my system.
Ever tried to solve one of those brain teasers that your friend send through e-mail? Sometimes these are great to keep on your mail archive just for those times that you’re bored as hell thinking of something to do to while the time away.
This site has 11 of those, and my brain sure did get a whacking out of some of them. Try it!
Every year since I got married, my family and I spend the Christmas Eve Mass in the San Jose de Trozo Parish, in front of Metropolitan Hospital in Sta. Cruz, Manila. One thing I noticed in this Parish is how they take advantage of technology (aside from the sound system) to reach to the hundreds of people who go to mass there on Christmas Eve:
Roaming around the web as I do when I pass time at home, this blog had an entry that gave me the shivers. It tells about how some crafty crooks could get away with your money.
